As a Positive Psychology practitioner, I’m passionate about helping, teaching, and guiding people in creating thriving lives by improving their wellbeing using the science of positive psychology

Applied Neuroscience

Our brain – the most magnificent and complex organ in the human body responsible for all of the body’s functions including thinking and feeling, hugely impacts the quality of our life and wellbeing. As an Applied Neuroscience practitioner, I use brain science to help people improve the overall quality of their lives to prevent mental and physical health issues such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, and dementia.

Creative Self-Expression

Being able to express ourselves is an innate need. Science has found that expressing ourselves in ways that are authentic to us, such as through speaking, writing, creating art (painting, singing, dancing, acting), or simply appreciating other people’s works of art, can bring about positive emotions and even help us heal. 

Contemplative Practice

Science has now validated the benefits of having a contemplative practice for our brain and wellbeing. Whether in the form of meditation, yoga, journaling, or simply mindfully walking in nature, having a daily contemplative practice wherein we can reflect and process our thoughts and emotions, and have time to just be still and breathe — offers tremendous benefits to help us heal, transform, and flourish.

Dea Victoria

Hello there! I’m Dea, a Certified Positive Psychology and Applied Neuroscience Practitioner who specialises in Wellbeing Coaching and Consulting. I’m passionate about helping women create thriving lives through the art and science of positive psychology, applied neuroscience, contemplative practice, creative self-expression, and by sharing my ongoing personal journey of growth, transformation and healing.

In the past, I felt like I was sleepwalking through life, merely surviving, and constantly battling the aftermath of experiencing abuse and trauma which led to developing incurable autoimmune diseases.

The knowledge I gained from having a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and studying Masters in Counselling Psychology was invaluable but didn’t help me thrive – until I discovered the science of human flourishing, fell in love with neuroscience, and applied its teachings to my life.

Nowadays, my goal is to use psychological science and brain science to help people flourish and create a thriving life worth celebrating.
